We are back in Bluestar Island where some come for a visit and stay and others leave in order to spread their wings. One of those who left is Emma Bell. She won a singing contest and left for Nashville with hopes of finding fame. Her hopes are dwindling and when her famous fiance cheats on her, she leaves Nashville and goes home to regroup. There she meets a new and annoying resident, Noah Sullivan. Noah left the rat race of Chicago after a near death experience . He now lives a peaceful and more sedate life. But the moment he crosses path with Emma, his life is turned upside down. While he is determined to stay on the island, Emma has sights elsewhere. Will these two find a compromise? Will Emma’s past come back to stir trouble? This latest addition was a sweet, touching, clean romance . I loved Emma and Noah especially as they are flawed and there were times I wanted to shake some sense into them but also knew they had to come around on their own. There are some highs and lows to go through, some laughs and maybe a tear or two and then there is the whole Dash the goat and the well!! This is the first book I have read in this series but I want to go back and read the others now and get to know Emma's family more now as well as all the townsfolk as they are great and makes me wish there was a Blue Star island near me!.
