Interesting setting and lovely storyline; characters were endearing...Good people! Character development was enough to see their true persons; but, the constant inner dialogue of Dr. Branch became almost annoyingly repetitive. Some loose ends with extra characters; and, a few trite phrases could have been avoided. (For example: Colloquiallisms are better in conversations within quotes, in my opinion, to keep writing fresher.) This novel reads quickly and with humor. Enjoy!
