About this ebook

Discover the New York Times bestselling series from Jennifer L. Armentrout.

Starting over sucks.

When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I'd pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring...until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.

And then he opened his mouth.

Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something...unexpected happens.

The hot alien living next door marks me.

You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon's touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I'm getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades.

If I don't kill him first, that is.

Read the entire bestselling series!

Way better than I thought it would be! Hate to say it but I'm hooked. Next up Onyx...gotta find out what happens.

I feel as if it was a bit rushed. The author disregarded most details in the books following the series. Such as weather manipulation, changing as the Luxen's mood would shift. This wasn't mentioned after in any of the later installments. I had no other issues though, people say its wrong and stupid because its masochistic and what not; however that is where i'd disagree, you have to read the ENTIRE series to fully understand why Daemon is such a douche. 😤 As the series develops, so do the characters.

I actuary read this book through a choose your own path stories because I was given free passes for the day. I have read a few paranormal romances novels and this was one that really got me hooked. I enjoy how the love and trust and how Katy has for Daemon that she is just not like any human he has met and keeps on surprising him. She understands more than he realizes about losing a family memeber. Another strange thing is how she came from the same city and state I'm currently living in. Excellent read..... warning cliffhanger will happen but worth it.

About the author

Jennifer L. Armentrout lives in West Virginia. All the rumors you've heard about her state aren't true. Well, mostly. When she's not hard at work writing, she spends her time reading, working out, watching zombie movies, and pretending to write. She can be found "brainstorming" on Twitter or stalking Goodreads while fighting her never-ending addiction to caffeine.
