The writing isn't horrible technically, but that and the fact that it starts with a good idea are the best things I can say about this book and the reason I rated a two and not a one. Stupidity abounds. Hero emasculated. Bodyguards totally insulted. Please don't write about horses and ranching unless you know them or have asked someone that does. It got so ridiculous I wouldn't have finished but I wanted to review it properly. Big waste of money.

It is so over the top and has so little depth to it that it was insulting. I do not mind light literature, but J. Ryan used sex, brutality and abuse to fill pages with a most unbelievable story. It was terrible!!!

This is the first book by Jennifer Ryan that I ever purchased and read. I bought it at around midnight one sleepless night thinking I'd read a chapter or 2 then sleep. I never got to sleep because I couldn't put it down. She's an amazing author and I now own all of the available electronic books by her. Love this author!
