The Loud Hawk
While practicing bhakti yoga outside of work and came back into it I encountered a negative experience that left me dumbfounded, in the sense that my life had a highly contrasting situation to the practice of the bhakti yoga itself. The following day I came to my friend's house and we had a rain of ideas regarding our own spirituality in conditions where we encounter the transcendent within our secular life. We discussed how the secular life could actually be found as a part of our religious pursuit and finally arrived at the conclussion accepting the fact that this was the time to be grateful for the lives that we have been given as a gift and to learn our own potential within the ongoing context, we had to look for a more profound way of looking into the outside world without excluding the possibility of the transcendent to take place within our lives constantly. I looked for keywords within ideas that had been coming and going in and out of my mind and I ended up finding this book, which in brief describes our current spiritual situation without closing to advancement within the modern world. Totally recommend it. It blew my mind.
