About the author
Jesse H. Choper is the Earl Warren Professor of Public Law at the University of California at Berkeley Law School, and its former Dean. He clerked for Chief Justice Earl Warren of the U.S. Supreme Court and has published acclaimed books on religious freedom, the constitutional order, corporations, and Supreme Court justices.
