About this ebook

Nearly a year ago, an injured human female showed up on Stonefire’s land carrying a flash drive full of information stolen from the Dragon Knights. However, before Zain Kinsella could interrogate her, she fell into a coma and hasn’t awoken since. After his initial anger fades, he wonders if the thin, pale girl will ever wake again. When she does, it’s up to him to help guard her and make her strong enough to face some questioning. He most definitely shouldn’t notice her delicious heat or the sadness in her eyes. She’s a prisoner and can be nothing more.

Ivy Passmore finds herself inside a dragon-shifter hospital, bedridden and barely able to sit up. Despite the overwhelming grief at the death of her brother, she’s determined to do everything she can to atone for her part in helping the Dragon Knights and causing her brother’s murder. She’s more than ready to tell the dragons everything. When one tall, quiet Protector makes a deal—she endures his physical therapy, and he’ll help track down her brother’s killers—Ivy has no choice but to agree. Slowly, her idea of dragon-shifters changes, especially around one certain dragonman.

As two former enemies morph into something more, the Dragon Knights find out about Ivy's location and offer a reward for her death or capture. Will Stonefire be forced to give her up to protect their clan? Or, will Zain and Ivy be able to find a path where they can defeat the Knights and be together?

Sooooo what can I say about this book it was magnificent!!! The way the 2 enemies came to learn each others true self .. the twist was so something that had me on my toes... Zain was a brute at first and Ivy was so scared they she couldn't even see the dragon tattoo or the flashing eyes.. it was something that anyone would say impossible for the two of them to come together but they did it and with grace!!! Thank you miss Donovan for the dragon universe that has our hearts and the amazing characters!!! Can't wait for the next one!!!!

Persuading the Dragon (Stonefire British Dragons Book 12) Jessie Donovan For those of you who have read Jessie Donovan’s previous dragonshifter stories, this one is just a little bit different. How you ask? Well, perspective for one. This story is written through the eyes of a Dragon Knight. But they are the ENEMY, the Worst type of people! They are known dragonshifter haters, wanting to kill and eradicate all shifters, they have claimed the lives of many humans and shifters alike in their violence! They stop at NOTHING to full their quests! That is all true. So why would she do such a thing? Well…. what would you do if a severely injured human female carrying vital information regarding the Dragon Knights, just happened to turn up on your doorstep so-to-speak? Oh, and before she could say a word, fell into a deep coma? Hmmmm? Ivy Passmore was scared. So scared she was paralyzed. Why couldn’t she move? All sorts of thoughts were running through her tired brain. Her memories were slowly coming back, Richard was dead, a tear fell. She remembered about herself. Why was this doctor being nice to her? What was going on? The doctor informed her she had been in a coma, What was that? About a year? “What bloody happened”? Zain Kinsella had been watching over this human female to wake up. He was her Protector. But how to do you get information from an unconscious female? You don’t. You have to wait till they wake up. Stonefire IT Security had gone over and over any data they could unravel, but Zain knew there was more. More locked away inside Ivy’s slowly awaking brain. And he was itching to ask her questions. Here we have it ladies and gentlemen, in this corner, Ivy Passmore, former Dragon Knight, female, strong willed, stubborn, trying to believe the Stonefire shifters only had her goodwill and recovery at heart. In the other corner was Zain Kinsella, Senior Protector, alpha male, dragonshifter, the one who had found Ivy a year ago, had been impatiently waiting for her to “wake up”. Both fought the attraction, the pull. Both had a different agenda, who would Win? Well you’ll just have to get the book to find out! I was given an ARC, but the Review is all mine and freely given.

Zain & Ivy His job is to protect the clan. Zain never considered he'd be watching over an enemy of the clan. Still, it became hard to consider Ivy an enemy. The young human woman has been in a coma for a year and finally, she's awake. She brought evidence that could help fight enemy of the dragons. Does that mean she is no longer an enemy? Looking at her, spending time with her is changing his feelings. What will happen with the information she brought and her feelings about the clan? Ivy shouldn't find herself drawn to the dragon. Even though she brought evidence that could help them she only did it to find out who and why her brother was killed. Was there anyone she could turn to? The more time she spends with the dragons, the more she realizes what she's been told isn't true. And the protector is someone she has feelings for. To save the clan, the two become part of a daring plan. A plan that proves they were both wrong and feelings between humans and dragons can become serious. Will they have a chance to find out if there is a future for them together or will those who are now both of their enemies change it all? A love story with some old friends and new ones. A fun time with Daisy and Freddie will add some comic relief. I am a huge fan of the kids and visiting friends from other books. This book hits all my fan buttons.

About the author

Jessie Donovan has sold over half a million books, has given away hundreds of thousands more to readers for free, and has even hit the NY Times and USA Today bestseller lists. She is best known for her dragon-shifter series, but also writes about elemental magic users, alien warriors, and even has a crazy romantic comedy series set in Scotland. When not reading a book, attempting to tame her yard, or traipsing around some foreign country on a shoestring, she can often be found interacting with her readers on Facebook. She lives near Seattle where, yes, it rains a lot but it also makes everything green.

If you enjoy the humor of Kresley Cole, the sense of community of Nalini Singh, the steaminess of Larissa Ione, or grew up on Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders, then you'll enjoy her books.
