The Dragon’s Discovery: Lochguard Highlands Book 6 Jessie Donovan Alistair Boyd really did not want to go the Great Hall at all. He was very comfortable just being a single male History teacher. But Meg Boyd, his matchmaking Mom, had other plans. But then so did Finn, and many others on Lochguard. You see Finn had invited 10 lovely single human females to Lochguard this time. And they were just longing to “get to know” any single male dragonshifters don’t ya know! Dr. Kiyana Barnes, DDA anthropologist, was just there to Chaperone, observe and collect clan data, not to get herself entangled with a shy, quiet, male, history-loving, alpha-male herself…… Alistair meets Kiyana and the attraction is evident to all but the involved. They are both denying it to themselves very vehemently. Mother Meg, decides it time Alistair met his match and stirs the pot so to speak. Kiyana is just glad to be amongst dragonshifters, since she has been enamored of them for the past decade, but not really having a chance to study, up close and personal! But oh my that teacher is so yummy, but no I must not touch! Meg Boyd sees her shy son Alistair is attracted to the lovely chaperone, and hatches a plan. But plans area made to backfire and at Lochguard, that seems to be the name of the game! Long held secrets, past relationships, and unknown devices get between a dragon and its mate! Talk about crazy! Jessie Donovan has done it again. There are more twists and turns in this book then Skyline Drive! I would highly recommend reading the Lochguard series from the beginning to fully understand all the characters and nuances. Oh, and don’t read this where you can’t laugh or make noise and I recommend a “Do Not Disturb” sign. I was given an ARC to read but the Review is all mine and freely given.

I loved Alistair and Kiyana story. Alistair Boyd is a dragon man who spends way to much time in his clan archives. Dr. Kiyana Boyd comes to Lochguard with human women who hope to become dragon mates. Alistair is teach the women about dragonmen. The Department of Dragon sent Dr. Kiyana to Lochguard to observe Lochguard's dragons. However, When Kiyana meets Alistair sparks fly off the two of them. A kiss between Kiyana and Alistair changes everthing. However he must deal with interfering mother and his dragon to have a second chance on love. I cannot wait to read more in Lochguard Highland dragon series and connecting series. I was given ARC for chance of honest review.
