It's lovely, a glimpse into the mind and process of song development. Personal development through words and thoughts transcribed and scribed. Intimate way to share her life through prose. It's as if I'm peeking into her mind careful not to disturb the process unfolding before my eyes. A pleasure to see her own handwriting and the way her play on words come together. Quite a delight

Jhene Aiko has a way with words. She's a true story teller. 2fish isn't a one time read; it's so relatable you can draw inspiration and comfort for any point in your life. This is an amazing poetry book and I look forward to reading much more from her.

Jhenè Aiko Efuru Chilombo was born on March 16, 1988 in Los Angeles, California. Jhené began writing poetry at 6 years old. At 13, she signed to a major record label and began her career as a recording artist. Today, she is a mother of one, a three-time Grammy nominated singer/songwriter and a poet. 2Fish is Jhené’s first published book.
