About this ebook

The last thing Rachel Sutherland needs is one-on-one time with Riley Wilkes. When her sister mentions the bad-boy Navy SEAL will be alone after a long stint at sea, Rachel agrees to greet him as he disembarks. Everyone deserves to see a smiling face, right?

When Riley spots Rachel at the pier, hot and bothered while holding a half-eaten box of cookies, he wants her more than he’s ever wanted anything. And that is before she gives him a passionate kiss. But one combustible encounter isn’t enough. He craves everything. Rachel insists on a weekend fling. Nothing afterward.

Now he needs more. Rachel thinks he’s short term, but Riley swears to prove this reformed bad boy belongs in her bed every night. With his heart on the line, he’ll stop at nothing to win his prize–forever. In uniform, no one can touch him, but out of it, look out!

Author’s Note: This book was originally published as SEALed With A Kiss––now refreshed with new scenes!

Riley and Rachel's Story . . . Rachel Sutherland isn’t looking for a relationship with Riley Wilkes. She considers him a sort of playboy. However, the bad-boy Navy SEAL will be lonely having been at sea for a long time, so when he returns home, Rachel decides to greet him at the pier and kisses him as he disembarks, just so he can see a smiling face when he gets home. Uh, okay. Riley is reformed now and passionately wants her when he sees her, even before the kiss. He had liked her in the past, but she never gave him a reason to act on it. But the kiss at the pier had him ready to make his move. She’s okay with a weekend of fun but doesn’t want anything more after that. Can he change her mind? Can he make her see that he wants forever? This story line was a bit odd. It didn’t feel like a comfortable romance, and the strange reasoning behind their getting together was not romantic either. But maybe if she gives him more than a weekend they can get something special going that just might last.

I like Riley and Rachel's story. It is nicely developed and a little different. He has been a player in the past but he is surprised by a kiss from Riley when he arrives home. She is the last person he expected to kiss him. This is a cute story with insecurities, self doubt, humor, passion and romance.

What a fun story. The love letters from the past made this story so much more. Standalone with no cliffhangers. Riley is the SEAL playboy, but one woman he never expected to see when he made it to port could change everything. All she has to do is give him a chance. Rachel is attracted to Riley and that's a problem. He is Not a forever man, even if he is spending all of his leave time helping her. This is a sweet romance that starts out Hot then grows into more. But can it last? I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
