Joan Smith always writes a lively tale. Her main characters have flaws that make them more interesting. I enjoy the mysteries that she puts in her plots. Smith's books are not steamy novels but are full of adventure, intrigue and some romance thrown in. Valerie is such a novel and didn't disappoint.
About the author
Romance author Joan Smith graduated from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario and the Ontario College of Education. Besides writing over a hundred romance novels, she has also taught French and English in high school and English in college.
