He's ready to score…

Wes is ready for the ride of his life now that his baseball career is taking off. We are back in Last Stand, TX with the legendary Ramsey siblings. Two of these handsome baseball players have found their significant other. Wes did too six years ago, but Emma Garcia refused to leave town , and Wes needed to go to pursue his career. Now back, Wes is determined to have a second chance with Emma. Though his intend was to slowly woo her, but when he finds out she’s trying speed dating in order to find a man to marry, he knows taking it slowly is not going to work. Emma’s reasons to find stability is a reaction to her childhood . One in which her flighty mother took her all over the USA. Will Wes convince her to give them a chance, or is this chance at love be just a memory? Aside from the plot of the story, it’s a story about the effects ones childhood has on one as an adult. How family dynamics or lack thereof, also molds our decisions and how “home” is not a place, but a state of mind when you find the one you love and loves you back even more. Lastly, Ty’s and Alexi’s story was sweet, touching and real. I was entrusted a copy of this book by Tule Publishing. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

This wonderful Second chance love story based in Last Stand, Texas stole my heart. I love the Ramsey family well some of them anyways and I am so happy to finally get Wes' story. Wes and Emma are the last to fall and when they fall they fall big time. This couple were high school sweethearts but Emma knew she wanted to stay in Last Stand after college to teach but Wes well he was always set to be a baseball star so she let him go to follow his dreams. Funny how life leads you were you need to be and it leads these two back to Last Stand and each other. I hope that our author will give us another book with this family and catch us up with them.
