This story took my emotions and twisted them into knots. Having gotten to know the fierce, loving Tana of the earlier books, I was devastated to see how little Chase valued her. It was easy to understand the anger and bitterness he carried, I just couldn’t handle seeing it all directed at my girl. I loved seeing Tana’s spine of steel in action; she is a proud warrior fighting for her place in the world. And I was so grateful to see Chase finally pull his head out of his backside and realise what he was about to throw away. Over these three books, I feel like I’ve fallen a little bit in love with this trio of roommates. Knowing that this was the last book in the trilogy has left me more than a little grief-stricken to have to say “goodbye” to them now. I received a complimentary copy of this book through Booksprout.

This is book three in The Brooklyn Night's series and it is Chase and Tana's story. Chase and Tana have history but it didn't end well and now Chase is back but still angry with the way things ended but what he didn't do was listen to Tana and let her explain what had happened but will be be willing to listen now or is it too late for them to get a second chance of being together and having a happy ending. Omg Chase and Tana had such intense and got chemistry between them that you could feel it sizzling of the pages of this book and I couldn't put it down as the characters and storyline pulled you in right from the start and kept your attention right until the last one as it was so addictive. This book takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions along with trust, forgiveness, love, hope and a second chance. I really recommend that you read this book and others by Joanne Rock who is an amazing author and writer and her books are definitely worth reading. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
