The best time travel stories seem to be centered in the Scottish Highlands and these are no exception. The first three stories in the series, all of which standalone but are loosely related. Modern women thrust back into a time where things are very different, including the men they find. Well developed characters. I like having the books in a set so I can read through without having to get back up to speed. I also appreciate that the stories do stand alone. Great adventure, women out of place a

Characters are well developed and keep you turning pages way past the time you should have put the book down. This boxed set of Highlander's keep me coming back for more. I've read a lot of books written by Joanne Wadsworth; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books. This is the first three books in the Highlander Heat Series.
