I wasn't sure what to think about this book going in. This was my first book by this Author. At first I was iffy about reading the whole book but the more I read the more I got invested in the storyline, the Characters. It turned into a page turner of a book. This was a great Historical Romance with a touch of magic. I certainly look forward to reading the rest of this series as well as others by this Author!!

It was hard to follow at first. Sometimes I couldn't tell the who, what and where. The themes were great - time travel, romance, etc but the writing didn't flow with me.

The characters were superficial. The time travel was lacking in details. The book as a whole felt like the top layer of a 7-layer dip however 6 layers were missing.
