Two series starters. The first, the Duke’s Bride, is a regency. Ellie has been in love with the duke forever but he has ignored her. She’s finally ready to move on but now he can’t let her go. This was a good but not great story. Still I enjoyed it overall. I didn’t particularly care for the premise on this one. Still it was a fast and easy read. The second story, Highlander’s Bride, was more fun. It is set in the highlands and has some paranormal elements. I preferred this story mainly because I liked the touch of fae. This was a fast and easy read with likeable characters. I have read both books before and did enjoy them enough for a re-read and review. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).

Great historical romantic bundle Both books are great series starters of Ms. Joanne Woodward's books. The Duke's Bride is the first book of her Regency Brides Series. A good story though there are a few setbacks and some reservations regarding the main characters - not for my liking though. But still, the plot has me going through it all, and somehow kind of redeemed themselves in the end for me. The Highlander's Bride is first book of the author's Fae Series. This is a historical paranormal romance. I like the characters here more than the first book in this bundle. An exciting and suspenseful read for me. Overall, the this bundle is great. Those who would like a taste of the author's first-in-the series books, this is IT ! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Wow! I have a new favorite Joanne Wadsworth book. The Duke's Bride is a phenomenal read. Ms. Wadsworth has delivered a well-written story and filled it with amazing, lovable characters. Ashten and Ellie's story is loaded with drama, humor and sizzle. It's a fun historical romance. I loved this book from cover to cover and look forward to reading more from Joanne Wadsworth in the future. The Duke's Bride is book 1 of the Regency Brides Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger. Highlander's Bride by Joanne Wadsworth is another great example of Ms. Wadsworth's talent. Highlander's Bride is a bit time travel and a bit paranormal. Ms. Wadsworth has once again managed to wow me with her fantastic characters. I love how characters from previous books are woven into Ms. Wadsworth's books, it's like visiting with old friends. Ronan and Kyla's story is a suspenseful, exciting read. There is plenty of action, humor and sizzle is this fantastic book. Highlander's Bride is book 1 of The Fae Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger. Highlander's Bride is a fairly short read, perfect for those with limited time for reading. I voluntarily read an Advance Reader Copy of this book. All opinions are my own.
