About this ebook

Raya Burns gave up her peaceful, protected life with her true love in order to find her missing brother. She's spent the last decade learning just how much she's capable of and how far she's willing to go. Alone.

After a decade on his own, Ian McLachlan is more than ready to leave the peace and solitude of his lake home. His old friend, GPSA Agent Carson Perenga, has called in a favor. A prisoner connected to one of his cases has escaped and may be headed straight into Ian's territory.

When Raya and Ian's new lives come crashing back together, they have no choice but to confront the past.

If the present has them facing each other down from opposite sides of the law, what can the future possibly hold for them?

Ian has agreed to help his old friend Carson in finding an escaped felon for Global Paranormal Security Agency (GPSA). So, he gets the shock of his life when he finds out that the woman who helped break out the criminal is none other than his former love, Raya Burns. Raya has built up a reputation as a mercenary, but she has a secret higher mission. I loved all the violently simmering emotions and pain that seeped between Ian and Raya, all that emotion was so sweet.
