About the author
The author is a retired engineer, educated at Aberdeen and Harvard, who ran his own business in custom designed and built assembly machinery. He lives with his wife in Suffolk and has 2 children and 5 grandchildren. He has written two other books and a short history of his golf club. From a lifetime of writing technical documents, he enjoys being able to expand his writing into more romantic areas.
