About the author

John taught special education for ten years. He is a Google Level 2 and ISTE Certified educator. John has worked as a technology integration specialist and has taught computers. He currently works as the Chelmsford High School Librarian and as an Assistive Technology Specialist for Chelmsford Public Schools. He has written numerous books on educational and assistive technology. John was one of the first special needs students in the modern system of special education. He has spent a lifetime breaking numerous barriers to become highly educated, a teacher, and a leader in the fields of educational and assistive technology. John has master’s degrees in special education and Curriculum and Instructional Technology. His teaching philosophy combines universal design for learning with blended learning to create student opportunities.
