About this ebook

The "spirit of sonship" is an apostolic grace which brings about the spiritual maturity of the believer, the revival of apostolic Christianity, and ultimately, the maturity of the church in preparation for the coming of Christ.

This important book reveals that the values and heart attitudes of what we may call the spirit of sonship is the very nature and essence of authentic apostolic New Testament Christianity.

You will discover a fresh approach to understanding and walking in grace, through relationships.  The subject is huge, and wonderful; the whole of the Scriptures and all of salvation history must now be seen in the light of sonship and its implications.

This book was one of my favorites of 2014. Someone recommended it years ago and I dismissed it. Thankful that the Lord brought it back around. Very balanced, sound doctrine.

About the author

John Alley has been in full-time Christian ministry since 1974, and has many years experience in pastoral and mission work.  John is the Senior Minister of Peace Christian Church, Rockhampton, Australia.  He works with a team of apostles, prophets, pastors and the community of believers at Peace to model apostolic Christianity.

He has been the senior leader of 'Peace' since 1988 and is regularly called upon to speak at churches and conferences in Australia, and overseas, teaching on many subjects.  He has developed meaningful relationships with leaders in many parts of the world.

John is a warm, fatherly and Godly man, who carries a genuine spiritual authority with a great peace and gentleness.  He has a wonderful God-given ability to teach the Scriptures and spiritual truth.  Things about life that might seem confusing John seems to be able to explain simply, and his teaching has been a help to families and churches all over the world.

Since 1989 John has, under the leading of the Holy Spirit, sought and received revelation about apostles and the apostolic nature of ministry, and what this means for the Church.  This has been published in his unique and ground-breaking book The Apostolic Revelation.  John continues to receive fresh understanding, and has now written this book,  The Spirit of Sonship, on relationships in the church, which is the heart of apostolic life.

John's wife of 43 years is Hazel, and they have 8 children, all of whom are active in the church and ministry with them.
