I came to a Historical Marker on Rt. 52 outside Manchester Ohio. It Stated were General Nataniel Masses home was located north of the marker. North was Straight up a steep hill. Well I explored every road and story I could find untill I located the true location of his home. The house was located off Buckeye Station Road. In Adams County Ohio. It was used as a look out durring the Indian Wars. What they must of had to endure. Well the house has rotted down to the ground, Not much remains. I felt it would had been nice it the people would have preserved it for histories sake. The marker on Rt. 52 was all I tought that remained of this man the others who were with him in history and folk lore. Than I found this. I am so pleased. They do not teach Ohio history to the school children as they once did. It is wonderful that there is written word to tell the story.
