About the author

John Richard Thackrah commenced his study of terrorism at the Institute for the Study of Conflict in London. Afterwards he created courses on Terrorism and Political Ideology at the Police Staff College, Bramshill. He has written books on twentieth-century history and politics including articles and books on terrorism and conflict.
