About this ebook

Have you wondered if it is possible to stop intense feelings of worry, anxiety or depression without resorting to medication?

Most depression related medication can have a series of harmful side effects that sometimes leave patients in an even worse state than before.
Cognitive behavioral therapy has been one of the most successful methods of treating and eliminating depression, anxiety and negative thought patterns with little to virtually no side effects.

Here's some of what you can expect to learn inside the pages of this book:

  • Discover exactly how to dismantle the most damaging automatic thoughts.
  • How to develop a solid foundation of core beliefs so that external factors have little negative impact on the way you think.
  • Learn how to take in situations with a more positive perspective and make it a long-term habit.
  • How to avoid the most common CBT mistakes that can greatly hinder your progress towards recovery.
  • Proven methods to relax your mind and body and disrupt stress and depression patterns.

Other than following the advice inside this guide, no previous skill or specific knowledge is required to get started with CBT.

There is a large amount of CBT practitioners that have learned how to harness emotions and thoughts to 'rewire' the way their mind works for good.
Unlike depression or anxiety medication, the CBT principles will reward you with long lasting results when correctly applied to your life.

There is no better time to start the journey towards a healthier mind and body. Start by practicing CBT today!

The problem I have with this book is the fact that the author is anonymous. There is no biography, no credentials, nothing about him on any book sites that I could find. Is he a doctor or just some dude? There is nothing on Wikipedia or any search engine. He also uses very generic statements like "Experts say..." without a single reference to anyone or anything that he proposes in this book. I even wonder whether this could be an AI generated book

Seth has written a clear and concise introduction to CBT. The book is a wonderful resource for student clinicians who are learning CBT, clients who are working with a therapist, and for any therapist's bookshelf. If you're curious about CBT and considering whether you'd like to try it, this book will give you a great sense of what's involved and help you get started. Another great use case is for those who have concluded working with a therapist and don't want to forget what they've learned. It's practical, user-friendly and gets to the point quickly.

This book is definitely one that I would want all of my patients who benefit from CBT to have their own copy of. The author did an excellent job of making CBT very user friendly for anyone who might be feeling too overwhelmed in the current moment of their lives to focus on less user friendly books. Let's face it. If you are human you've probably experienced overwhelm at least once. If CBT is indicated, this book will help, along with an experienced clinician of course.
