About the author

JOHNNY AGAR gained international attention while participating in countless races with his father, including the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii. His journey with cerebral palsy has been chronicled by NBC, The Today Show, People, Huffington Post, and ESPN, among others. Johnny is a Brand Ambassador for Under Armour and works as a motivational speaker. He lives with his family in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Impossible Mile is Johnny’s first book.

BECKI AGAR is an advocate, philanthropist, and mother of three children. When she had children of her own, she closed her daycare business to raise them. Becki currently fundraises and advocates for organizations that have been instrumental in helping children who have special needs to be as independent as possible. She graduated from Grand Valley State University with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Psychology. The Impossible Mile is Becki’s first book.
