Reads like a devotional. I have the complete Gen to Rev. Jon Courson has incredible insight into the meaning of each verse. His vivid explanations are always fresh and exciting. He has great scientific knowledge. I let a friend read my copy while I was over at his place. Half hour later. He purhased it online for the full price. I gotmine half price . He could not wait, and today he uses it along side the bible text he is studying. I love it. But, I have several that I use while studying. I believe this to be a necessary tool. It does not read like a commentary. It gives you the KJV verse, and then notes under it, then it repeats after each verse So thete isno going looking for the notes or even a bible. My reading is deeper and extended because of the wonderful notes.
