This is a theologically powerful, pastorally rendered telling of the activity of God's Spirit in the massive spiritual revivals that comprised the beginnings of the American History-altering 18th Century movement called "The Great Awakening." Edwards' prose is captivating as he sprinkles this narrative with eyewitness examples and doctrinal observations...a must read!
