If you enjoy Swift's sarcastic humor or if you are interested in learning about 18th Century life, I highly recommend this short book. Jonathan Swift "advises" servants how to perform their duties as poorly as possible and excuses they can use when they've been absent for a brief time (say two to eight hours or so).
