Besides writing, Joyce Reynolds-Ward is a skier, horsewoman and middle school special education teacher who lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband and son. She is currently studying Interpersonal Neurobiology at Portland State University and has participated in seminars with Dr. Allan Schore.
