I do really enjoy a friends to lovers story. This is the second book in the Mafia Moguls series. I highly enjoyed this one. Characters were well written and intriguing. One of the reasons I love the friends to lovers troupe is they already have some chemistry and the history they have together. Jenna and Mac are best friends and when Jenna needs Mac to come what's a friend to do, but drop everything to help. Being in paradise and trying to keep their hands off each is hard enough and then throw in a fake engagement things get a whole lot harder to resist. What happens when pretends starts to feel all too real? Mac has his reasons for keeping Jenna is the friend zone, but it's getting so much tougher keeping his hands to himself. There is one heartbreaking moment in this one for me. Really sad, but shows you the strength of the characters and the O'Shea family. Can't wait for the next book in the series.
