I found this to be a lovely and fun story. Laura had doubts about her future, but she was so caring and generous with others despite social lines/standards. She tried to fight her attraction to Miles but chose happiness over those same standards for herself. Miles was a bit of a workaholic, but he found a better life by spending time with his sister and Laura. I loved the entire story, found it hard to put down, and highly recommend it. I received an ARC, and this is my unsolicited review.

A Season Of Flirtation is a fantastic historical romance by Julia Justiss. Ms. Justiss has created a well-written book populated with fun, lovable characters. Laura isn't in a hurry to marry, she's more worried about her father than finding a husband. Miles is a banker and doesn't trust Laura to help his sister feel more comfortable at ton functions. Miles and Laura's story is loaded with drama, humor and spice. I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to my next book by Julia Justiss.

This lighthearted romance moves fairly slowly as Miles Rochdale ensures that Lady Laura Pomeroy does not unduly influence his vulnerable and impressionable sister in the ways of the ton, which did so much to destroy his belief in himself and his place in society. However, the more Miles interacts with Laura, the clearer it becomes that she is nothing like his previous encounters with the so-called cream of society.
