The feels man. The. Feels. This book anchors you in from page one and keeps you in sync with the tide til the end. There are a lot of lessons to be learned in this book, some that touched me personally. I recommend this read to anyone whom is needing a glimpse of something surreal to add to his or her daily lives. I also recommend it to the romancers, the dreamers, the naysayers, and all the ones who feel they fall through the cracks.

This book took off from the beginning and you got to know the characters very well. It was sad at times, dare I say a little bit depressing, but it definitely held my interest and I just needed to know how Sophie would react to these things that effected her greatly.

I had my reserves about reading this book in the first place since I haven't read a book such as this one before but it captured me pretty quickly and I will admit that I shed a tear or two while reading. Now I'm interested in reading similar stories. Can't wait!
