About this ebook

Young Michael goes to sleep dreaming of a snow day, only to awaken to bare roads and clear skies. He heads to school in his clunky, black snow boots and prepares for an ordinary day in the classroom. About halfway through the day, though, the storm hits and the snow piles up, making it impossible for anyone to leave. Michael’s teacher, classmates, and school staff make feelings of anxiety and uncertainty disappear as they come together for a night filled with games, imagination, and storytelling.

Snow Night is a picture book about an emergency sleepover inside an elementary school that will teach children how to cope with the unexpected and how to have fun in new situations. It will make a valuable and delightful addition to personal and school libraries!
