      It was in the late 1970’s The American Government was under a lot of pressure from

U.S. Citizens to end the War in Vietnam.  The American people were tired of being lied to by the political media about what was going on in Vietnam.  The  American People were beginning to ask many questions that forced the American   Government to bring there sons and daughters back home.  At the end of 1974 the American Government issued the order to pull out of Vietnam.       The number one musical song during the war was recorded by a group called the “Animals”, which was titled, “We got to get out of this place”. Music was the one thing That helped lift the sprits of the American soldiers. It motivated and directed many events In their lives.     The returning soldiers came back with a great hatred towards the Vietnamese people. Many soldiers came back with bad memories of a war that would impacted their lives. Forever.

      This story is about a woman who became a victim of two different cultures. Love Forced her to choose between her life achievements or a future and security of A Black U. S. American. This is a very unusual love story bought about by the War in Vietnam.
