The only problem is that the perfect girl for the job is not only the band's personal assistant but also his band-mate's sister; someone he needs to do a lot of groveling to in order to get back into her good graces. Cassidy Forrester agrees to help out Dare and the band, but she’s determined to keep her heart out of the equation and not give Dare a second chance. The chemistry and magnetic attraction between them is too intense for them to ignore; causing lines to be crossed and re-igniting the flames and sizzle. There is so much more to bad boy rocker Dash than meets the eye. Now Dash has to figure out how to convince Cassidy that he has really changed and prove to her that he is worth taking another chance. Spending time together, working for the band, the fake relationship was soon looking more and more real. Ms. Phillips wrote a wonderful, sizzling, smexy, emotional, and heartwarming story that is not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with sizzling chemistry, amusing banter, and charming secondary characters giving Dash and Cassidy a chance for happiness, love and a future together. I highly recommend Just One Spark to other readers and look forward to the next book in the series. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. Told from dual third person perspectives (Dash and Cassidy) JUST ONE SPARK follows the building romance and relationship between rock star Dash Kingston, and PA Cassidy Forrester. Several months earlier Dash had a one night stand with his brother’s fiancee’s best friend and PA Cassidy, and ghosted her the next morning. Fast forward to present day wherein Cassidy Forrester has been hired to be the personal assistant to the Original Kings but a scandal was about to rock Dash Kingston’s world, and our heroine would be caught in the middle of the fall-out. Once again, there is a large ensemble cast of colorful and energetic secondary and supporting characters including the members of the Original Kings: lead guitarist Jagger, Mac the bassist, and Cassidy’s brother and the band’s new drummer Axel Forrester : Xander and Sasha (Just One Chance), Linc and Jordan (Just One Night), Aurora Kingston, and their mother Melly; publicist Naomi, and band manager Dean. Aurora’s story line is next in JUST ONE DARE. JUST ONE SPARK is a story of family and forgiveness, relationships and second chances, friends and love. The premise is engaging and entertaining; the romance is provocative and erotic; the characters are energetic and captivating.

Just One Spark is the fourth book in the The Kingston Family series. Dash Kingston may be a successful rock star and the lead singer of the Original Kings but his life is going to hell. After a near scare of an unwanted pregnancy, Dash knows that he needs to clean up his act. He's tired of the whole groupie scene and just wants to find the perfect woman to settle down with. Of course Dash had his chance with the perfect woman, Cassidy Forrester, but he blew it and ran when his emotions got too real. The bands PR person thinks that Dash needs a fake girlfriend for awhile until the whole pregnancy drama blows over. Who steps up....Cassidy! Since her brother is the band's new drummer she could easily fit in, plus she could use the money. Of course the chemistry Dash and Cassidy have doesn't need to be faked. ;) Cassidy is out to do her job and get paid and fall for Dash's lines again. Dash on the other hand is ready to prove to Cassidy that he is serious and wants something real with her. When it looks like things are headed Dash's way, an opportunity comes for Cassidy and everything comes crashing down. Dash finally realizes what he needs to do, with a little help from Alex, and makes a big, grand gesture to win Cassidy back so they can finally get their happy ending. I just adored this steamy rock star book and it is my favorite in the series so far! Dash and Cassidy's chemistry was off the charts. It was fun watching this man go from a playboy to a one-woman man. I really enjoyed both of the characters as well as all the family members jumping in and out of the story. I also loved the sneak peak into Aurora's story and can't wait to see where that story goes!
