Ratings and reviews

It was good, not great. The antagonist in the story kinda lost me, like what was the reason behind his killings beside the fact his mother taught him to do it when he was young like yeah thats messed up an could drive a kid insane (but you'd think he'd want to kill woman that reminded him of his mother right?). There was no tether tying him to the protagonist(s) in this story so that was confusing enough(besides the fact he worked as a janitor for a moment at her office) but they never interacted did they? Mackenzie had no idea who the guy was. As a free Ebook it gets a 3 1/2 star rating from me.

Sexy romance, detective work and suspence all rolled up in one. Loved Dex's character. Mackenzie would be annoying to me in real life since she had such a non-stop mouth. Sweet person but annoying, just reading her let alone if I had to listen to her. lol Good read though.

I actually lost interest in the story very early in the book. There was no umph in the writing. Nothing tingly or outstanding. Quite boring, actually. i just could'n finish it as there were stacks to read and no time to waste on this one. Sorry. I'm sure there's lots of people out there bored enough to find the book of any interest.
