The Night Won't Wait is a collection of contemporary poems in the sense that they deal with the Great Pause, as we have termed our condition. But they are universal in the sense that they raise fundamental questions about our entire species, taking the pandemic as a take-off point.

Kaustabh Kashyap lives in the realm of dusty bookshelves and films that don't often find space in the mainstream spotlight. He has a penchant for enigmatic and lost souls apart from his capacious fondness for dogs and baked goods. His works have appeared in the Reading Hour, Vayavya, The Assam Tribune and Erothanatos.
