This is the 4th book in this series and what an intense book it is. Henry O'Keefe who we met in Aaron and Gemma's story is not a nice man in fact he's ruthless and heartless and Melissa knows that she has to get her & her son away from him before something bad happens. So she decides to file for divorce but Henry decides that divorce isn't going to work for him he decides to kill her. Melissa's lawyer's brother Chase is a Navy Seal and he agrees to protect Melissa and her son until the divorce is finalized. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. When Melisa realized that her marriage was over considering the treatment received from her husband, she filed for a divorce hoping to have the element of surprise. When she hears a plan that her husband has set into play that will have her killed, she runs with the help of her lawyer. When Chase gets the call from his brother he never expected that protecting Melissa and her son would change his life but it does in so many ways. Now on the run trying to keep ahead of her husband and the men he has put on their tail, will Chase be able to fulfill his role and keep them safe? I love KB! Her stories are always descriptive with characters that you can connect to and draws you in with all the action and drama!
