Louisa's 4.5 Blush Review Twenty-four years old and a widow.  Sutton has had to cope with life as she never thought she would.  A single mom to the most adorable boy, Jason. David - new to Texas and Wright Construction, met Sutton on the worst day of her life; the day she lost her husband. No one would ever suspect or imagine the friendship that would begin between these two.  David is a hot, young, career-driven man who has spent the past year admiring Sutton from afar.  Yes, he's part of the Wright "family" so their paths cross but David's feelings have been smoldering for a while.  Sutton, on the other hand, is unsure of how to "move forward" from Maverick. First things first, David is a saint. I love a great alpha male but a sweet, caring, loving and understanding man is just as attractive, if not more.   He's so patient with Sutton, he can see their relationship changing but he takes his time. Once again, KA Linde has given us characters who make you smile, swoon and want the best for.  Her writing and storytelling flows like a perfect song. Seeing Sutton come out of the darkness into the light again was inspiring, seeing David be the man that Sutton and Jason needs is also beautiful. But wait - KA Linde has one hell of a twist at the end of this book and my jaw dropped and a gasp was heard..thank goodness the 2nd book, The Wright One is only a few weeks away!

Sutton is a woman that is going through a lot... a whole lot. She's a widower with a single kid, and she's the Wrights baby sister. She is interested in getting it together but she doesn't know where to begin, and sadly she doesn't find the support she really needs in her family or friends. They all pity her and she can't handle their feelings plus hers... that is, until she realizes that there's someone that has always shown her support since her husband died. No, it was so very Wright. David is exactly what Sutton needs. Someone decided to give her unconditional support, and that really cares for her. He is new to the Wrights. Moved to Texas some time before Sutton husband dies, and he is the CFO of her family's company. But one thing we know from the beginning, David is completely in love with Sutton and he wishes he met her in a better moment and could do something about his feelings for her . Sutton has been mourning her husband for a year, and she's ready to live again. She's twenty-four, has a beautiful two-year-old, and so many reasons to enjoy her life. After deciding that she's ready to move forward, it doesn't take her much to see that David has been there for her all along, and that he was willing to be whatever she needed him to be in order to give her love and support. Lately, I have really enjoyed standalones. Reading about a couple in a single book is really practical and convenient. But, once I knew that K.A. Linde was ready to tell us about Sutton's story it didn't surprised me that she needed more space to write about her. There's so much going on in her life, so many things that she needs to resolve. Getting over your husband's death, caring for a child on your own, getting over your family's sadness for you, accepting love once again... And in this first instance of her story she does so beautifully. I know you'll enjoy this book as much as I did. I'll read The Wright One as soon as I can because I can't wait to know how David and Sutton resolve the many issues they found in the first book of this duet. Get your copy today! Sutton and David's love is a sensational story.

Talk about a cliff hanger! I love these kind of books because the anticipation and angst builds up for the next book. Let's just say David F'd up everything! I love Sutton and feel her mourning. She is trying so hard to live especially for her little guy. I was hoping the guy to bring her out of her shell would be David. When the end came, I am not so sure anymore. The passion between these two characters still have me wanting the outcome to be a HEA for these two. But I am not sure that is in the cards for these two. The Wright Love is about loss, love, truth, and betrayal. The sexual chemistry between Sutton and David will have you turning on your A/C. I have come to love the Wright family and Sutton always broke my heart. I can not wait for book two to see if she is finally freed.
