Good book full of magic and action. The main character, Nala, is well done and I love seeing how she handles having her entire world changed.

This was so good I could not put it down. It starts with Nala losing her father and being captured with her mother and the villagers. She is sold as a slave but soon learns that there is something special about her. Talk about action packed and something always happening. I read this book in one sitting and glad I started it in the morning because I would have been up all night. I would recommend reading this book. I've read several books written by K.N. Lee; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books. This is the first book in the Magic Truth Series; it is a stand-alone short story. The story is about Nala & Ciaran.
