About the author

The author is a physicist and an automation engineer with research interest in physical-cyber security of Industrial Control Systems (ICS). Initially he specialized in design and development of ICS, by focusing on SCADA and DCS networks. However after realizing the gravity of the Advanced Persistent Threat (APT), he later focused towards the threat vectors in the extremely complex interdependent critical infrastructures and framing defense-in-depth mitigation strategies. He has over 30 years of experience in ICS and Energy Engineering. He has authored four more titles viz. Cyber Security in Industrial Automation, Industrial Automation with SCADA, Power System Automation and Smart Grid. He may be contacted ksmanoj321@gmail.com.
