This was way too short for me. It felt like the end of a great novel. But it was a fantastic read, tragic and beautiful apocalyptic world. Wish there was more of it as the development of the world was very intriguing.

Kali Wallace was a geophysicist before she decided she enjoyed inventing imaginary worlds more than she liked studying the real one. Her short fiction has appeared in F&SF, Asimov's, and i. She lives in Colorado.
