About this ebook

From an early age, Kiara has been plagued with dreams of another world—dreams in which a girl she doesn't recognize plays a strategy RPG called “Farzia: Kingdom at War”. Farzia is, in fact, the same kingdom where Kiara currently lives. Oh, and one other thing: there's an enemy character who's also named Kiara, though her name is Kiara Credias. Naturally, as with any other RPG villain, this enemy is slain by the heroes.

So when her adoptive father, Count Patriciél, orders her to marry Viscount Credias, Kiara comes to a horrifying realization: perhaps those “dreams” were visions of things to come! She hatches a plan to get the hell out of Dodge and create a new future for herself—one where she STAYS ALIVE, thank you very much!

I refuse to be your enemy! Has quite a different spin to your classic "reincarnated in a game" novel. Our protagonist, Kiara is reincarnated not in the ever so present otome game, like in most shoujo LN, but in a tactical RPG. Moreover, she happens to be an evil boss from it. As you guessed, Kiara tries to escape her Fate and save the characters, that in time, will become her dear friends. This novel is an enjoyable read, and I look forward to the next volumes. I strongly recommend it!

The synopsis makes the novel sound quite whimsical, and while, at times, it is quite comedic, this novel has more serious tones than others with similar premises. Specifically, it was more comedic in the beginning of the story and got more dramatic and serious as the volume came to an end. This was mainly written in Kiara's POV so you won't get the thoughts of other characters very often. Nonetheless, Kiara's relationships with each of the other characters are quite cute and I really enjoyed reading scenes with the Kiara and the ML. This volume ends on a bit of a cliffhanger should you want to wait for the next volume. Overall, I thought this was a very enjoyable and interesting novel and I am excited for the next volume!
