Karen Floan was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Growing up as an inner city youth and young adult Karen thrived in her fast paced city lifestyle. For as long as she can remember, Karen always had a passion for fashion and dreamed of becoming a fashion designer herself but her while in her twenties, life lead her to move to Northern Minnesota where she married a wonderful man and they made their home for 20 years. Now Karen makes her home in Fargo, North Dakota and enjoys the ever evolving atmosphere her new home has to offer. Karen enjoys a simple lifestyle and spends as much time as possible with her family and friends. Being a Midwesterner all her life Karen enjoys winter sports such as; downhill skiing and ice skating but Karen's favorite season is summer. Most days you can find her sitting on her patio with her precious Yorkie; Jax by her side as she sips iced tea typing on her laptop. Or enjoying a get together with her close knit group of friends at local eateries laughing and thoroughly enjoying each other's company. In Karen's quiet time you can find her enjoying music as she ponders new stories or curled up on the sofa, with her constant companion Jax, watching a good movie.
