Like a lot of books in the genre, the book highly overlays how people would react to teenagers getting accused of murder. The media obsessed, the police are useless, and most of the characters could avoid all the negative by just avoiding school.

very enjoyable story, loved the four main characters. ending was a little weak, but I guess you gotta set up for a sequel somehow, so

best book ever! can’t wait to read ‘ one of us is next ‘ kinda mad i left it at school, for holiday break😭 wish i brought it home with me. all my friends want to read it, they all say it looks really good just by the cover, and the cover doesn’t lie, the book is amazing! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
