Alexa’s temporary joint task-force assignment has become permanent due to its success. As Alexa can’t stand her FBI partner, this is not the greatest news for her. Pair this new fact with the escape of a serial killer more cunning than any she’s faced previously, and you know you won’t be able to put this book down until the very end. Another must read from Kate Bold. **I received this book in exchange for an honest review. **

Alexa is totally driven by hunting killers and bringing them to justice, so much so, that she is annoyed by her new partner's behavior when he talks about his girlfriend and their personal life. In The Killing Hour, their hunt for a serial killer who escaped from jail, turn in the hunt for his copycat. The plot is full of twists and turns and most leads get the duo nowhere until a telephone call makes a difference! Alexa is also fighting with all her inner power the darkness she recognizes she has and reading her mentor's diary is enlightening her on which path she should take. A very good story that should be marked as a must-read by all.

Book 3 in series sees US Marshal Alexa Chase on the hunt for an escaped serial killer, victim bodies start to be found and Alexa is stunned when she finds out the serial killer is dead, killed exactly the same way he killed his victims.. Time is running out to find the copycat. Really enjoying this series and characters.
