Have you ever read something and it was just everything to you? I mean you felt like you knew the places and the people? This is just how Kate Canterbary's Preservation made me feel. She writes in a way that these characters are so real you feel like you know them-and they are totally people that you want to hang out with. Kate is just amazing at what she does with all the words. I'm so glad to have come across her first book, Underneath It All and have been introduced to the Walsh Family. Riley Walsh, ladies and gentlemen! Those of us who have been around since Kate's first book in the series, have had a chance to watch see Riley's progression from man-child to man. What a mighty good man he's become! He's just everything you could want into a book boyfriend-loyal, smart, dedicated and SEXY!!!! Did I mention that Riley is what I would call "sufficiently nasty"? Oh people, if I leave you with nothing else, know that Riley Walsh has a dirty, filthy, nasty mouth on him that he puts to great use-and I absolutely LOVE IT! He really is the stuff dirty dreams are made of! We get to meet his "Someone Special" in this book. SS is just perfect for Riley. She gives just as good as she gets. I don't want to give away to much about SS because spoilers, yo. If you are still reading this review, STOP! Start reading about Riley and his SS. Many congratulations to Kate on the release of Preservation. Best thing I've read so far this year!
