About this ebook

Vorok knows the rules of the Red District. Bust heads. Take names. And never cross the boss. But when the boss's daughter tries to run away from an unwanted engagement, Vorok has a choice to make: send her home... or help her escape.

He's had his eye on the pretty human for years, but there's no way a pampered princess like her would want an orc enforcer. Then life on the run ramps up the heat until there's no resisting.

But there's no life for a mafia princess and an orc. Especially not in the dingy world of Crimson Enclave.

So what's a monster to do?

This read kept you turning pages. Living in a world where you think you are safe - but then your father gives you to an evil man that's when plans change. The female character living in a protected world that her mob like father rules has her eyes opened when he promises her to another mob type boss. Now she has to escape. The male Orc was in the right place at the right time. He happens to be one if the few Orcs that have compassion. I liked how you got a little more of who they are along the way. I liked the drama within the book. It kept you wondering how they were going to get out of this mess. I always like a good epilogue and this one did not disappoint. This is a fairly short and quick read about Andromeda and Vorok. It is intriguing with action, suspense, arranged marriage, a knight in shining armor, passion, fated mates and much more. I love the characters and how their story developed. Meda knows her father is a ruthless man but does not think he would do anything to her; WRONG. He wants to sell her off in an arranged marriage to a very bad man. Vorok has been attracted to the boss's daughter will he help her escape? I enjoyed every bit

I enjoy reading Kate Rudolph's story. Her storyline is intriguing and I love the characters who come alive in the story. The ORC works for Meda's father but has watched her from afar for a long time. When she tries to escape Vorol finds her and decides to help her escape a marriage to a cruel mafia boss. There is plenty of action, adventure, excitement, freedom, and love in this story.
