Edgy sci-fi! Sloane came from a good family but her uncle Vin’s criminal influences made more of an impression than her father. When Vin disappeared she “inherited” his ship and crew but they will continue looking for him as long as it takes provided they can make enough money off collecting fugitives for bounties to keep the ship running. Unfortunately, Sloane’s unorthodox methods seem to create chaos and often make her a target. This is a top-notch sci-fi with a strong plot and very creative concepts. There is lots of action and battles both planet-side and in space and I love the author's imagination. I, couldn’t put it down and finished it in one day.
