It was good. It was kinda boring at first. Its' not my favorite book out of the series though. I thought it was interesting closer to the end. It is nice that the Guardians of Ga'hoole books include other owls perspectives. It was violent at a certain part. The book was very description

As I love this series and grip on every book, this one was a TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT. It focuses too much on Nyroc and the Pure Ones. Soren is the one that is truly capturing suspense. I believe this one was very disappointing, I couldn't stand abandoning the series but on several parts of this book I wanted to. Thus, I give this book a 2-star.

I like this book a lot. It tells of a young tyto alba under the influence of his evil mother. I like lost tales of gahoole and the capture slightly better.
