Another winner by Katie McCoy. Brother's best friend is one of my favorite troupes so this book is right up my alley. Austin and Mia have a lot of history and that's what I love about the troupe. It's tougher on Austin though because of the Bro Code. A couple times I wanted to smack Austin for his hot/cold whiplash with Mia, but then he would redeem himself. I really loved Mia. She's a strong character that's very likable. Sometimes in life we just need that one person to believe in us to give us the confidence in ourselves. That's the perfect way Austin would describe Mia.

You can never go wrong with reading a Katie McCoy book! Sweet, sassy, sexy, swoony….I may have fainted more than once while reading Sex God, because a lack of oxygen will do that to you when a book like this takes your breath away! So much deliciousness is packed into this hilarious and emotional love story. Austin and Mia are two characters that you just know are destined to be together. Their unique and complicated history only drives the story further, delivering a new layer of fascination to the already complex storyline. And their combustible chemistry burns you with its intensity and passion. But as much sensual excitement this story brings, the touching and delicate emotions flow from the pages with an abundance of warmth and heartbreak. Austin and Mia’s connection make them both realize what’s really important in life, and brings forth the stark reality of what their lives would be like without love. Well written with a forbidden, engaging, and refreshing take on a Hollywood romance, Sex God is the perfect book to make you fall head over heels for a broken and soulful rockstar. 5 Stars!

I’ve been a fan of Katie McCoy for quite some time now. Her books are amongst the few authors I have in an automatic one-click. I don’t even have to think about it and she never steers me wrong. Sex God was just another one of those books. It had heat, fun, emotions, some angst and featured sexy as sin but conflicted rock star hero Austin James and sassy, quick-witted journalist, Mia Stevens. Mia’ known Austin since she was in high school. He’s her big brother’s best friend and the guy she’s been crushing on since on amazing kiss they shared eight years ago just after she started college. But, Austin put the breaks on their ‘never even got off the ground’ relationship because he didn’t want to break the ‘bro code’. Now working at ChatBuzz an online media magazine, she’s trying to be the best she can be at her less than fulfilling job. She bumps into Austin at a nightclub and discovers that the man she lusts over hasn’t changed any in the last eight years. He’s still a just a one and done kind of guy.
